KLOSH @ Jurong Point Grand Opening!

YAY! It's a wrap for our Klosh Grand Opening Event at Jurong Point!! We were extremely happy and humbled to announce our 5th outlet on the 1st July 2018 (Sunday) and we're very grateful to those who came down especially to witness the Grand Opening with us. We definitely felt all the much love and support from you guys!

Conveniently located at Jurong Point opposite Boon Lay MRT, our new Klosh store can easily be found upon reaching the basement at #B1-74!

Not long after the Grand Opening event began, the store was swarming with people of all ages who were all merrily shopping and chatting away with their friends and family. Everyone seemed intrigued by our variety of novelty products and we hoped that they gained a little more inspiration and have brought back the spirit of giving after browsing through them!

The highlights of the Grand Opening event included not just 1, but 2 very special workshops that we have specially put up for all our dear shoppers to enjoy themselves and learn something new!

To kick start the opening ceremony, the first event was an embroidery workshop hosted by Alexis, an experienced and passionate sewing artist who has done up various stunning embroidery hoop designs that captured the hearts of many! Our participants were all giving their fullest attention as she went around to each person to guide them through the seemingly tedious process.

However, it was not long before everyone got the hang of it and could easily accomplish some basic embroidery stitches! Hooray! We hope everyone felt as rewarding as we did to organise something that we think all of you might like!

Of course, the skills and workshops that Alexis have are not just limited to these. Over at Sew Beautiful on Facebook, you can find that she has many beautiful creations ranging from zipper pouches to patchwork quilt baskets!

For those who are considering to pick up embroidery or just want to brush up on their skills, we highly recommend for you to sign up with Alexis as she is surely the most patient and sweetest lady we've ever met! Anything handmade from her workshops would make the most unique and personalised gift for your loved ones. We know they'd love and appreciate the amount of hard work and sweat you put into crafting it!

The event that followed next was a Watercolour Oil Pastels Workshop that we have put up in collaboration with Pentel, a familiar brand that most Singaporeans grew up with ever since we were young in school! The slots were snagged within minutes upon release and we were all so thankful for everyone's support!

The Pentel workshop definitely caught the attention of different families as we saw children happily attending the workshops with their parents. Don't we all agree that a hands-on arts and craft session makes one of the best family bonding activity for anyone?

Our participants did a great job at handling the basic watercolour techniques and very soon, they were all masters of their own art! Look at them with all smiles and sunshine with their completed watercolour art pieces!

The next surprise that we had planned for you guys was the special appearance of 7 online influencers who share the same beliefs as we do, where "Gifting is an art of Giving". We couldn't find anything more apt than to have our theme this year be "How to Inspire Others"! Born out of a love for giving, the most important thing that we want to achieve is to see how our shoppers can feel more inspired to spread positivity and optimism through gifting!

And most importantly, this Grand Opening event wouldn't be made possible if not for all of your support! We appreciate each and everyone of you who came down for our event and we really hope that all of you left with something to keep close to your hearts as memories.
