Short Getaway Trip - KLOSH

Short Getaway Trip

Wanna get the vacation vibes but couldn't afford the hefty price tag that comes with it? Go for a short getaway trip to a nearby country or even in your own country! Short getaway trips usually means you’re going to pack light. If you tend to overpack, here’s some tips and trick to make sure everything fits in a duffle bag / backpack.

 Clothing Matters

Choose clothing made from cotton material as they lightweight and keeps you warm. To choose the ideal clothing for your travel, do consider several factors such as the weather of the place you are going, weight of the clothes and the durability. Your travel clothing should be durable, takes up minimal space and weight, wrinkle-free and opaque. Try choosing clothes that matches with the rest of your outfits.

For your undergarments, switching it to disposable ones so that you can throw 'em after using. This can save a lot of space!

If you're going to the beach, pack one set of bikini, slippers/sandals, sunscreen(important!!) and shades. If you're visiting a temple or places that requires reserved clothing, pack a long pants that is comfy which can last you for a whole day. Scarfs also can double up as outerwear to keep yourself warm in chilly shopping malls.

Ditch your comfy pillow, soft toys for a lighter bag. You don't want them to add more additional space or weight to your travel bag. Perhaps you can take a pillow case to feel more at home. But isn't leaving home the reason to rejuvenate?

A lighter bag, a lighter mind. Enjoy your short getaway!
